Lesson 1 of 3
Plans beat endless scrolling
Without a plan, it is easy to say 'just five more minutes' again and again. A plan names when screens start, when they stop, and what you do after.
Good plans include school work, movement, sleep, and fun. Screens fit inside the day instead of eating the whole day.
Watch the step-flow capstone. See how each habit you learned snaps into a weekly plan.
Lesson 2 of 3
Write it with your family
Sit with a grown-up and write three promises. Example: I will ask before new downloads. I will pause when my eyes feel tired. I will tell an adult if something scares me.
Post the plan where you can see it, or save it as a note on the family tablet. Review it after holidays or birthdays when routines change.
If you break the plan one day, reset tomorrow. Plans are guides, not punishments. Talk about what made the day hard.
Lesson 3 of 3
You are a digital citizen
A digital citizen is someone who uses technology thoughtfully: resting when needed, asking before risky clicks, speaking kindly, protecting private facts, and telling adults when something is wrong.
You do not need to be perfect. You need to notice, pause, and try again. That is what growing up with screens looks like.
Celebrate finishing this path. Share one habit you are proud of with your class or family, and keep the plan where you can see it.
